Razer Mamba wireless gaming mouse hands-on
Written by Admin on March 20, 2009 – 2:30 pm -
Late last month, we had the opportunity to have a listen with Razer’s Carcharias headset, and now we’re seeing just how precise the same outfit’s latest mouse is when it comes to clicking oh-so-carefully within Minesweeper. The downright gorgeous Razer Mamba just showed up on our doorstep, and we couldn’t resist photographing the unboxing experience and hosting it up for all to enjoy. Our Mamba came housed in a special Razer suitcase that also included the aforementioned Carcharias headset. The mouse packaging alone was some of the most extravagant we’ve seen, with even the delightfully braided USB cable encased in a soft black cover. Bottom line? The aesthetics here are top-notch all the way around, and while we plan on giving this thing a run-through over the weekend in order to speak on actual performance, we’d suggest diving in below to whet your appetite.

Dell Studio One 19 unboxed, found less attractive than Facebook photo
Written by Admin on March 19, 2009 – 4:30 am -PC Authority is first from the gate with its unboxing of Dell’s Studio One 19 all-in-one desktop. Funny how white, the hottest color for consumer electronics back in the early naughts has been cheapened by the netbook commodity. Fortunately, the Studio One 19 ships in multiple colors. And after seeing the immaculate Adamo packaging, we’ll just assume that this pre-production Dell was wrapped in pre-production packaging as well. We hope so anyway. See our favorite picture after the break — the rest lie beyond the read link. Read more »

AT&T to offer unsubsidized iPhone 3G with no commitment required?
Written by Admin on March 18, 2009 – 2:30 pm -For existing AT&T subscribers looking to get a new handset for a few months before they make that inevitable Pre / iPhone 3.0 / Gizmondo decision this summer — or folks who just despise contracts in general — it looks like AT&T will be offering unsubsidized iPhone 3Gs at last. According to some training slides obtained by The Boy Genius, the “no-commit” price will only be available to existing customers, and will run them $599 for the 8GB model and $699 for the 16GB. Sounds like somebody’s looking to flush a bit of stock, or perhaps they’ve finally decided to almost treat the phone like pretty much every single other device on the market — wild times we’re living in, folks. The no-commit option should be available as of March 26th. Read more »

Hyundai’s MB-910 watch phone gets priced and dated
Written by Admin on March 16, 2009 – 2:30 pm -Remember Hyundai’s MB-910 watch phone that we spotted around this time last month? How could you possibly forget, right? That masterpiece / atrocity is actually coming to market, and Mobile Gazette has it that the bugger will cost around £200 ($281) when it lands sometime in Q2. As for specs, we’re told that it’ll boast tri-band GSM connectivity, Bluetooth, a 176 x 132 resolution touchscreen, 128MB of storage, USB 2.0 and the obligatory time-telling mechanism for good measure. Too bad it’s closer to “heinous” than “halfway decent.”
